1.     Mrs. Cristina Feliciano, QCSSPAA President, announced that the association purchased a digital camera as the association project.

a.     She discussed the previous trainings held at Baguio City last May 14-16, 2010 at Teachers Camp, Baguio City with Mr. Manny Zacarias for Digital Photography and Mrs. Ely Lindo for Trends in Newswriting
b.    She also shared the Campus Journalists Summer Training last June 4-6, 2010 at Ciudad Christia, San Mateo Rizal attended by 71 campus editors from public and private schools.
2.     Dr. Ligaya Regis thanked the host school and Dr. Melanio Austria, Principal of Krus na Ligas HS and his school heads and performers for the warm accommodation of school paper advisers.
a.     commended the attendance of SPAs in the first monthly meeting for SY 2010-2011.
b.    introduced the new SPAs designated in schools to the body.
c.     discussed schedules and asked the SPAs of their issues in schedules and collection.
d.    asked the SPAs of the school publication fund collections and recommended private consultation.
e.     asked the SPA officers to pay courtesy call to the new Mayor of the City to further lobby the association’s programs and projects for the new school-year.
f.     reported accomplishments of the trainings and expenses of the association.
g.    discussed promotion of SPAs to principal and head teachers.
h.     asked the body to organize District Secondary Schools Press Conference and announced that District Coordinators will be appointed through memorandum.
i.      announced that District Secondary Schools Press Conference be held on August 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 2010 by choice of dates selected by districts.
j.      discussed frustration on the poor attendance at the School Paper Advisers Training in Teachers Camp Baguio and asked the body of reasons why they did not attend.
3.   Mr. Moises Tarrobal, ERodriguez Jr. HS SPA posed inquiry of SPAs not present during the Baguio training.
4.   Dr. Ligaya Regis asked SPAs to submit financial reports and explained why it is an important document audited in the Division Office.

1.                  The Division of City Schools, Quezon City will conduct a two-day training for the newly designated school paper advisers of public and private secondary schools at the Conference Room, Division of City Schools, Quezon City on July 31 and August 1, 2010.(changed to Aug.7 and Aug. 14, 2010, same venue)

2.                  Attached is the list of participants who are new secondary school paper advisers.

3.                  The trainers for each category are the following:
